Apartment 5 Questions

  • We allow all decor with the following exceptions: no glitter, sequins, confetti, feathers, or stickers. All decor will need to be collected by the event host by the end of night. We do not store any left behind decor for collection later. If we see excessive decor debris (i.e. stickers stuck to our furniture, left behind balloons, etc.), the event host will be charged a $250 cleaning fee.  We are not responsible for any personal items of event host or their guests. We do not have additional decor available for guest use. 

  • Event hosts can provide a Spotify playlist that we play on our bar iPad. This hooks up to multi-room ceiling speakers and we can control the volume per room. Event host can also bring an outside DJ for a $125 set-up fee. The outside DJ can use the bar’s XLR cables to connect to the ceiling speakers and/or they can bring their own external speakers. Please kindly note that our ceiling speakers are designated for low to medium volumes typically heard in a cocktail bar. The bar does not have a DJ deck that DJs can use. 

  • We allow outside cake and charge a flat $35 cake cutting and plating fee. The event host does not need to provide utensils nor plates however if they would like birthday candles, this would need to be provided by them. We do not allow ice cream nor ice cream cake. Event host must stipulate in advance if they would like any remaining cake to be boxed up or else it will be thrown away for sanitary reasons. 

  • We offer open bars for $30/guest/hour. This includes all beer, wine, classic cocktails and Apartment 5 specialty cocktails with the exception of select premium liquors. We do not allow shots and only allow one drink per guest at a time. Open bars need to be prepaid prior to event start. Open Bars can be extended during the event. 

  • Upon request we can remove bar stools from the main bar room and we can push aside the main marble tables. We cannot accommodate any other furniture removal. Event hosts can remove/move furniture with their own production team and/or store furniture off site for a $750 refundable damage deposit. 

  • We do not provide a coat check or coat rack. For events with a full venue rental, event hosts may bring a coat rack and self-manage coat check in the Library Room. Apartment 5 and its employees are not responsible for lost or misplaced items.

  • We only accept liquor sponsorships for events with venue rental fees instead of F&B minimums. Per State Liquor law, liquor will need to be purchased by us and then reimbursed by liquor sponsor for full cost and a 20% sourcing fee. 

  • We are full service eating and drinking establishment. Any event host that brings in outside food and/or liquor will be charged at minimum a $350 fine. Event hosts are responsible for the actions of their guests. 

  • Our private event invoices can be paid via credit card, ACH or Zelle. We do not accept cash or checks for event invoices. Credit card invoices may be subject to a 3.5% Credit Card processing fee. 

  • We have a Photo Booth in our downstairs “Kitchen” room. This is operated by a third party vendor and they charge their own rates. 

    4 Hour Free Mode 

    $450 gets the booth in free mode a custom photo strip and welcome screen and a post gallery album.

    $350 keeps the booth as is same welcome screen and photo strip design but booth is free to use.

    The client can choose one of the three layout options to create their graphic

    • Event Title

    • Their photo strip graphics

    • If they'd like to customize the email subject line/body to match the theme of their event

  • We allow and encourage any kind of outside entertainment with the exception of any entertainment involving fire and/or smoke. We do not have any formal dressing room or private room entertainers can use for costume change. Entertainers are welcome to use our guest restroom or employee rest room.
